Miles Garnett 
Miles Garnett, the principal of First Investors Realty, is an attorney primarily involved in the securing of financing for emerging growth corporations. For over 40 years Mr. Garnett has been involved in numerous activities relating to real estate and real estate construction as a principal, Real Estate Director for a major conglomerate, lawyer and broker. Mr. Garnett was also Vice President of Corporate Development for the D.H. Overmeyer Co. which at the time was the largest purveyor of warehouse space in the world with over thirty million square feet of warehousing. Mr. Garnett acted as a broker to locate and lease off site facilities for Pan American Airlines at Kennedy Airport in New York. 

Mr. Garnett commenced his career by building numerous custom homes. He built Parkchester Hospital in the Bronx, and an addition to Physicians Hospital in Queens, both in New York City as well as syndicating and building an apartment house opposite Van Cortland Park in the Riverdale area of the Bronx, NYC and several others. Mr. Garnett was also special counsel for Republic National Life Insurance Company’s Investment Division in Texas to solve their real estate workouts which were primarily in land development. These transactions involved real estate located in New York and Arizona. He also created and placed commercial land paper with banks which was integral to his marketing of mobile home sites for Casa Loma Mobile Home Estates in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

In connection with many of the foregoing activities and in his capacity as a practicing attorney, Mr. Garnett has been involved in the creation or negotiation of various forms of real estate financing.
